The perfect medieval castle home

Tulira Castle, in the village of Ardrahan in County Galway, is basically my ideal home. A national landmark and one of the finest examples of an Irish Castle, it’s set within 250 acres of mature woodland and parkland.
It’s got a 16th century tower and a Victorian main house, seven bedrooms and four reception rooms.
But more importantly, it’s got that “old castle feel.”
The furniture looks comfortable but stately, with a sophisticated charm. A lot of castles get remodeled with tacky modern trimmings, this one feels authentic.

At around 11million USD it’s not exactly a starter home, and is probably more than I’ll be able to successfully fundraise – but if we get a lot of demand and signups and have the funds, this is what I’ll buy.
We’d have to install a bunch of micro homes around the property for guests to stay in, but maybe we could make a Robin Hood community of awesomeness in the nearby woods and they could walk to the castle.
