This lovely castle is only £1.2 million. I love the facade and towers, but it was only built in 1906 so it’s lacking history. It has a more modern, austere feeling and sparse furnishing, and I really want the luxurious French decorations in the bigger chateaus. The view is amazing though.

Here’s something a little more realistic, for around 1 million USD. http://www.luxuryestate.com/p10236150-castle-for-sale-gignac The inside isn’t as grand, the ceilings not as high. The furniture will need to be replaced and the interior redesigned to make it more luxurious. But the outside is tough to beat.
